The Insure Communication Integration BOT is installed on the same Windows
computer as the software application you wish to integrate with. This
may be a RIS, LIS, PACS, or some other clinical or professional software.
The Integration BOT uses detailed screen scraping techniques to capture
the data from your existing software with Hot Key activation. Once the
hotkey has been activated you will see a “Create Alert” screen. You
may change any of these fields if, for example, you wish to change the party
being notified or his/her contact information. This data is delivered
over secure and encrypted channels to the Insure Messaging Portal and stored
in a database referenced by your Insure account.
The Insure Messaging Portal will deliver Secure SMS and Secure Email
Alert messages to the configured recipients. When a
recipient receives a message they are directed to the Secure Insure Web Site
to view the Alert Message. The recipient may also acknowledge
receipt of the message and may send back reply notes, which must be entered
BEFORE they acknowledge that they have received and read the message.
All communication events including message creation, delivery,
verification by recipient, and read certification are stored in the Insure
Database and easily viewable by the Insure Communication Portal. By logging
into the Insure Portal, you can view and manage open alerts and add notes as
well as view closed alerts and also add notes.
Built-in retry delivery logic will re-send messages when necessary and in
case a message is not read, an internal fail over contact can be assigned to
take complete responsibility of a message.
